Shipping times takes around 4 weeks to get to the UK from Chinese ports once the container arrives we aim to offload or deliver the container within 2 to 3 days of arrival to port. 

If you are buying goods for resale and this is your first time of importing you will be in safe hands with no surprise charges. The best Terms to buy your goods on are FOB terms with the suppliers. They will then pay the charges up to port and we will take over from the port to your door. You will also need to apply for a Eori number once you have the bill of lading from us.

Incoterms 2020 – A term given to one of the common terms of trade. When applied to buying goods from China or any other country, there are four common incoterms .  Incoterms 2020 are related to how far the supplier transports the cargo to. 

The codes of these incoterms 2020 are as follows:

EXW – All Transport costs you will pay from the supplier to your door.

FOB – Transport to a nearby port in China normally closest to the factory with export fees paid by the supplier. This is the most common terms importers ship on so they can have there agent in control of the shipment in the UK and have a agreed set cost.

CIF – Transport to a nearby port in your country. If you choose this option the China supplier will not pay any export charges and you will have high import charges that you would not of been aware off. So there is hidden fees on arrival to the UK.

DAP/DDU – delivered to your door uncleared so import vat and duty and customs clearance to pay on arrival to the UK.

Please ensure that you check with the relevant trading standards (we can put you on to trading standards) or food health agency (in the case of foodstuffs) that all license requirements are met and that there are no potential copyright infringements.

It's important to let you know that for some products and goods being imported from China you will need to acquire an import license. It is always best to check before purchasing so you know what the supplier has to provide.
